I would think that the air pressure SHOULD move the piston. If I apply air directly to the lift cylinder gallery it will fully extend QUICKLY.

Someone posted a picture of the loaders joy stick with cables in the NH operating section, and it shows an adjustment that I think is the problem. I'll post back when I figure it out.

There's two switches that control the dump valve solenoid; one on the loader wobble stick and one on the floor. If your dump valve is stuck open, you'll have no pressure and no forward or rearward motion. This is what jimg984 was talking about.

Does this sound right? It is easier for me to disconnect the hoses at the cylinders and watch the cylinder ports.

Get a quoteWebMay 17, 2012 · Have a 49hp mf tractor with a front end loader. The lift is very slow can you give advice. Have you checked the quick disconnect fittings. I have seen these cause these symptoms. With the engine off bleed the pressure off of the FEL quick disconnects by moving the FEL control valve through lift and dump with the engine off.

Try holding the valve open with a bungee while you listen at points where there are fittings that are possibly restricting the flow.
